Experienced Outboard Marine Technician Wanted

FULL-TIME
Compensation: $25-$65 an hour based on experience

East Shore Marine is seeking an experienced Marine Technician to join our year-round shop. We're an authorized Yamaha and Mercruiser service center and we're looking for a technician with a focus on outboard engines. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable shop with a fantastic work environment and competitive pay. We also offer factory schooling for both Mercury and Yamaha.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing and repairing problems with outboard engines, marine systems, and electronics
  • Rigging new and pre-owned boats
  • Performing warranty work
  • Installing electronics and accessories
  • Bay testing boats

Requirements

  • Experience with Yamaha and Mercury outboards is required; certifications are a plus
  • Must have your own tools (computerized diagnostic tools are provided)
  • Knowledge of boat operation
  • Valid driver's license
  • At least 3 years of experience as a marine technician preferred

Experienced Marina Yard Help Wanted

FULL-TIME
Compensation: $17-$25 an hour based on experience

East Shore Marine, a busy full-service marina, is looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to join our team as full-time yard help. Join one of the most reputable shops in the Northeast and become part of our team! We need someone with a strong work ethic to help with boat preparation and maintenance during our busy seasons.

Responsibilities

Your primary duties will focus on getting boats ready for the season and winter storage, including:

  • Power washing boat bottoms
  • Shrink wrapping boats for winter storage
  • Setting blocks and stands in place for boat storage
  • Assisting with other general yard duties

Qualifications

  • Experience with power washing and shrink wrapping boats is a major plus
  • Must be a self-motivated person with strong organizational skills
  • For safety reasons, you must have the ability to read, speak, and understand English
  • Willingness to work additional hours (overtime) as needed to complete tasks
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and work outside in all weather conditions
  • A strong work ethic and a commitment to safety policies and procedures are essential
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
